How many people look at the United States as a militaristic empire that is growing by use of force and war?
> Many people are convinced of that fact.
Do we negotiate or make deals to enrich other governments leaders at the expense of the people?
> Absolutely.
Do we fairly pay for the services of those people who do the mining and processing when we build factories abroad?
> No. Anything done abroad is mainly due to the cheaper costs.
Do we pay for those resources we mine and ship home for our use at reasonable rates ?
> No. Sometimes military surplus equipment is used to pay. This leads to war and conflict.
Are we a growing empire who uses threats and intimidation to get what we want worldwide ?
> Yes. Iraq is a great example: securing safe oil flow. Also the recent bullying of Iran is a good example.
Has building the worlds largest military and financial center given us the right to exploit the rest of the world for our own benefit?
> Yes. Why does the U.S. Navy need 19 Aircraft Carrier Battlegroups? For the sole purpose of intimidating other nations of course!
Is it also rearing its head here as working Americans no longer benefit as much as we did 40 years ago?
> Yes. The effects of globalization is proving consequential to Americans in the states. They are losing corporate value as cheap labor is found oversees.
Is the two party system really just one party of the rich doing as they please?
> No. It’s a business venture. Everything is business. Politicians today are businessmen: securing contracts, gathering money for reelection, getting bribes and deals.
Do you feel somewhat manipulated by the press?
> Yes. But I get information directly from the sources and I trust no middlemen/middleowmen to bring the news to me.
Is it hard to get the truth from our leaders?
> The truth will hurt the leaders and bring them shame/low ratings in polls/ and media lynching. That’s why they lie all the time. But I don’t blame them.
Who and or what is at the core of our way of life?
> Money, greed, luxury, arrogance and an absolute disregard for global affairs and disrespect of different cultures.
Education failing or manipulated to meet the needs of corporate America and the empire that desires total world domination?
> Absolutely. Education here is a business. More enrollment = more revenue. Colleges are hiring more students than they can handle to enjoy temporary boost of funds.
